Verdeazul Adventures has its base in a strategic natural enclave, connecting two countries and offering a series of ideal bike routes.
Ecopista (Portuguese term) designates old railway lines used as cycling and walking paths. From our base, you can follow the linear route Valença do Minho – Monçao (upstream) Valença do Minho – Vilanova de Cerveira (downstream) on a smooth and flat surface shared by pedestrians and bikes in a privileged natural environment, always in contact with the river and its riverside forest.
The Spanish Riverbank is also not to be missed since our center near the International Bridge leads to the fishing trail that takes you to Caldelas de Tui or follow the Camino de Santiago to venture into the riverbank of the Louro River up to the neighboring town of O Porriño.
Along with all the previously mentioned routes, we also offer the option of renting our bikes to do the Camino de Santiago.
You have no excuse, we provide the bikes, you provide the time, and nature does the rest!
Bike Rental
We offer you the option to choose your own route, without any rush and at your own pace. We are located in an ideal place, just a few meters away from the border with Portugal and close to various natural routes and the ecopista, perfect for this activity. Just a few hundred meters away, you can find the Portuguese ecopista, a cycle track that boasts of being one of the most popular recreational paths in the area. You will get a complete panoramic view of the Miño Valley, covering its flat and smooth 18 km stretch that connects the towns of Valença do Minho and Monçao. The route runs along the old train line that links Valença do Minho with Monçao, restored as a cycling and hiking route. You will enjoy a peaceful walk amid large corn and potato fields, small gardens, vineyards, and forests of Salgueiros and Amieiros. We are also close to the entrance to the trail that connects Tui to Salvaterra de Miño, where you can enjoy a complete flat journey along the Miño River. You decide which route to take; we provide everything you need to enjoy your day!- Ideal season for performing: from June to August.
